You can get sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as syphilis by having oral, vaginal or anal sex with someone who has it. Contact with semen, blood, vaginal discharge etc. also increases the risk of getting STIs. Clean your hands before the test. Disinfect your fingertip with the alcohol swab and make it dry and clean.
Take out the purple lancet, remove the transparent cap, and then press the lancet tightly against the disinfected fingertip. Press it firmly until you hear a click.
If you could not pierce your finger with the lancet, use the blue spare needle.
Twist the round needle cover and pull it out, then pierce your disinfected fingertip with the needle.
Gently squeeze your finger, wipe off the first drop of blood, and then squeeze another drop of blood.
Use a dropper to collect a drop of blood from your finger, and then drop it into the S area on the test paper.
Slowly add a drop of buffer solution to the S area.
Wait for the result.
The result will appear after 20 minutes. Result appearing after 22 minutes is invalid.This kit is used by the colloidal gold-labelled recombinant syphilis antigen (Au-TP Ag)-coated glass fibre membrane, recombinant syphilis antigens (TP Ag) and rabbit anti-TP antibody-coated membrane made of cellulose nitrate using colloidal gold immuno-chromatographic detection techniques and principles of qualitative analysis of blood samples from Treponema pallidum antibodies. Detection, blood samples from syphilis antibody with colloidal gold-labelled antigen to form antigen-antibody complex, due to the role of complex chromatography to move forward along the note, after a test line (T) pre-coated with the antigen-binding form "Au-TP Ag-TP Ab-TP Ag" sandwich materials and the mobilization of colour. Free colloidal gold-labelled anti-syphilis principles of the Quality Control Division (C) and pre-coated with rabbit anti-TP antibody binding and enrichment of colour. Negative specimens were only in the Quality Control Division (C) colour.

Negative result does not guarantee that no TP antibody is in low concentration. Thus the test should be repeated at a future time.
