Interpreting Test Results

Look closely at the Control line (C line), HIV 1/2 (H line), and Syphilis (S line) positions on the test card. A C line must appear for the test to be valid. Test lines may vary in color intensity and can appear very faint. Only a C line means negative; any faint line next to H or S is considered positive. Seek medical advice immediately if concerned or positive.
